The Leverage Loan Market
Leverage lending is lending by generally banks to highly indebted businesses. A lot of it's related to private equity firms that come in and they buy up companies. Half of those leverage loans go into CLOs, collateralized loan obligations. We're talking $700, $800 billion outstanding that's growing very rapidly.
