The author is a self-confessed "pollyanna with rose tinted glasses" Her father died suddenly the day after she and her mother passed away. She suffered from chronic facial pain and panic attacks for 15 years following his death. The experience that i had prior to that in nature, i can see now, weren't really that different. It was kind of like er putting some understanding around things that just had already been my life and work without me consciously recognizing it.
