The Evolution of Cybercrime
In 1994, William Chezwick and Stephen Belivan published Firewalls and Internet Security. Robert Tappen Morris created the Morris worm in 1988 as a first-year computer science graduate student at Cornell. Jeff Moss organized the first Deaf Con security conference that caters to the hacker ethos. Vladimir Levin is likely the instigator of the first significant cybercrime.
