I've had a number of follow up conversations with folks that are early in their PhD and they're trying to pick a PhD lab. They say, well, what's hot in venture right now? And the latest biotech wave of companies,. What area is most interesting? Is it CRISPR? Is it RNA editing? Is it field X? Like what's hot? And therefore, I want to do my PhD in it.
