When Hollywood first became the place where movies were shot and movie stars were out in the sun all day, of course they needed to protect their beautiful eyes and faces from the sun. Dr. Bazan says sunglasses are important all year round, not just in summer. Our eyes are often watery or irritated because of all this cold winter winds that we're getting spinning around,. And sunglasses can actually help protect against that too. So sunglasses really are medical devices. They're good for you, but they're also glamorous.
