The Importance of Equal Representation in Ireland
Ireland is changing, and there's a lot more people in Ireland now than there were even five or six years ago. So the question of how many T.D.s is dictated by how many people and Ireland is changing, so that number is going to change. There are two very important articles in the Constitution which sets the ratio of people to members of parliament. We've been on a journey, if you want, for 30 or 40 years, moving away from that kind of partisanship.
