The Role of China in the US Green Industrial Policy
Green New Deal advocates were pushing for a wartime style level of mobilization, but definitely without an actual war. What sort of terrain of struggle does this render this new industrial policy given the really serious, though still frankly like incomprehensible threat of outright war? And then lastly, if one exists, what might a stable geoeconomic and geopolitical settlement with China look like? I would say I would not use the word depressing. I would use the word disquieting. It should trouble us very deeply is how I would begin. We've got to be incredibly focused on these dynamics," he says.
