The Problem With Labels
If reclaiming individual words isn't part of the problem, how do you define which words are problematic and which ones aren't? And doesn't that reflect one's own personal prejudices when you're making that list? That's the problem, isn't it? I think that's the case with labels. I'm not in the business of trying to isolate other people, identify them, criticise them. This is about thinking about the language as a whole. People accept it, but they can see it.
