The Myth of Momentum in Sports
The Celtics came back from a 3-1 deficit to beat the Philadelphia 76ers in 1982. Dr. J cited one reason why game 7 could be a problem for the Celtics, because we lived in 19 and 1982. Well, guess what, Philly 120, Boston 106, and Andrew 21 off for 30 again, and Dr. JJ says it's not momentum that carries over. The biggest myth in sports, in my opinion, I've learned this after is momentum, and you know, it's a myth.
