For most of the 1960s in Czechoslovakia, the Bulgarians are doing acid studies with LSD. Doctors at psychiatric hospitals are taking acid so that they can understand what it's like to be schizophrenic. According to Unconfirmed Reports, one of the provincial hospitals carried out tests on children as young as three years old who were experiencing mental health issues. In another hospital, experiments were supposedly carried out on prisoners. Many participants at the psychedelic sessions, especially artists, recalled their explorations of LSD as unique, even formative experience. However, others experienced so-called bad drips and committed suicide soon after.
