The Impact of the Pandemic on Higher Education
It's almost two years now since the pandemic triggered the first national lockdown across the UK. The University of Edinburgh has been consumed by what I would describe as firefighting, which is dealing with the immediate issues. And that period of two years is long enough to have a very significant impact on the strategic planning that we would like to undertake. We are where we're at Institute of Learning and we should learn from ourselves and from our recent experiences.
