The Origins of Metaphysical Guitar Playing
"I'll fess up to-to-to many, uh, metaphysical guitar playing experiences in my life," he says. "It's probably-and I remember you telling me-this is one of the first time I ever had anyone someone tell me, but it was so amazing how you told the story." He started recording when he was in sixth grade and dubbing off bootleg heavy metal cassettes for a woman who lived near him. The band didn't like the sound that came out of commercial studios; they wanted to make their own sounds.
