The Importance of Confidence in Relationships
I've been in a very similar situation. And I don't think that there's an overnight solution. But we all need to be able to confide aspects of our lives to more than one person, at least I do. The solution was to build a broader network. Diversify my identity, diversify my relationships. If they ended, it would be devastating. There's no getting around that.
