The Two-Minute Rule

The key to starting any habit is to actually make it a habit that takes you two minutes or less. For example, let's say you want to create the habit of journaling. Instead of writing four pages, your goal is to write one sentence. You're lowering the threshold. If you just write one sentence a day, you'll get in the habit. And I promise you, if you wrote one, you might write two. But if you don't write one, you won't write two.
