Many tech companies are founded by technical founders who are visionaries or may have specific technical skills that enable them to found the company. And without them, a lot of that vision starts to fade away. That's one of the reasons that founder led companies is one of the things we look for in more investments. The cult of personality of tech does lead to this key person risk.
