The Importance of Language in Film Production

You can't do ugugaga anymore. You have to sell it to at least someone or else you're the only one reading it. It's like my friend who's obsessed with the details of film production, people who care about swords,. For an artistic production, a language is just set dressing. But I sometimes think some people become so obsessed with creating alien languages that it's out of proportion to the needs of the book and stories they're doing.
