The Shadow Man Entity

My bedroom was connected to a large, open den, and hallway where my baby brother's crib was located. A solid black, shadowy figure that wasn't exactly man shaped, but resembled a man stood there watching me from outside the doorway. All of a sudden i felt a pressure on my chest and throat area, like this thing was taking my breath and life right out of me. The next day after school, i fell asleep for long nap, pretty much the only time i would get any rest for the next few nights. I'm not sure if these entities hate the light. Whatever the situation, i never saw the thing again. But it doesn't change the fact that i still fear
