The Legend of Flathead Lake
More than 100 sightings of the Flathead Lake Monster have been recorded by 2017. Some believe it's an eel-like fish that can grow up to 36 feet long, but those are deep water and don't live in Montana. In 2005 a local judge was on his boat with his wife when their battery unexpectedly died. While they were waiting for help, something came to find them; its humps even sticking out of the water. The monster then slipped away unharmed.
