Compromise or Co-Operational Collaboration

All constitutions, whether written or unwritten involve compromise. The original us. Constitution of 17 87 was really a compromise of the first sort. It protected slavery in at least three concrete ways. We think of it as immoral because of the symbolic quality that anybody is less than a full person.
