Seaweed is a marine crop that you can grow at scale, and actually if it's grown in the right way,. It sucks down lots of carbon. As it grows, parts of that biomass get shed into the water and can be sequestered in ocean sediment. So where it becomes ultimately the fossil fuel for the future. We're still more expensive than obviously PET and polypropylene today, which are around one to three dollars per kilogram.
