The History of Chili Dogs

A chili dog is this food item that exists from the collision of mostly Eastern European people, you know, Germanic and Slavic people. So it's a tomato-y fine beef stew that is strewn across this sausage that we call a hot dog which is then eaten inside a bun of bread like a sandwich. It's not an accident that this line is such an immortal representation of life in the agricultural interior of the United States.
