John Burge and the Burge System

John burge trained dozens of other officers in his techniques, which expanded over the ears to include electric cattle prods simulate and simulated executions. Burges officers often beat subjects with telephone books, flashlights, batons and bats. They burned men with hot radiators and cigarettes. This went on for a very, very long time. Chicago has paid out millions of dollars in reparations to victims, but an unknown number of burge's victims still remain in prison. Multiple people from death row were executed as a result of all this coming to light; we will never know how many men died there.
