The Redemption Cycle

Brent: We talk about that redemption cycle. What kind of cycle do we say this was, this was Mr. Brent? Redemption cycle where we constantly see the Israelites making mistakes but God never failing to pick them up and set them back on the right path. And so you have this juxtaposition of two different kings, like a king that's going to lead like the world's going tolead or then there's a king that'll lead like a shepherd. The struggles now becoming like, it's kind of systematizing itself. It is taking on overtones of empire. So into that mess, because now that it's not just a struggle anymore, the struggle is now starting
