One common path to being a palliative care physician is through internal medicine as you did in the fellowship. I know at least one person who did an anesthesia residency in the palliatives care fellowship so that's one what are the others? We in our fellowship programs have been involved in and then my colleagues I've had people from psychiatry, people from family medicine,. People from emergency medicine, internal medicine, family medicine are probably the most common but again emergency medicine and psychiatry or two others that are common as well.
