The Importance of Participation
The piece of all things lies in the tranquility of order and order is the disposition of equal and unequal things so as to give each its proper place. Augustine argues pride cannot bring one to recognize or attain happiness understood as true lasting peace. In the heavenly city then there will be freedom of will one freedom for all and individual and indivisible in each. That city will be redeemed from all evil and filled with every good thing constant, he writes.
