Is Amazon Going Vertically Integrated?

i understand the move more now when i read an article about how part of the rational for amazon with the television. They want this to be as seamless a process as possible for people who are using the fire stick already have an alexa in their home. Whether whether it works for them or not, i think ultimately really does depend on the technology.
