Introduction
Andrew Tate was arrested at his Romanian compound on December 29. He'd previously been raided in April of 2022 over allegations that a woman was being held against her will and coerced into performing sexually on a webcam. In 2015 in the UK, Tate had been accused by two women of rape and a third of repeated strangulation. The online Tate spectacle provides a litmus test for how fast the cognitive dissonance of culture war chaos can plummet.
