How Did You Come to This Area Study?

Ao: I was really interested in the relationship of of biology and ideology. Growing up in estonia, there was this constant political discourse around falling birth rates. So i kind of didn't want to study it either. It felt like there wasn't enough scholars around who were thinking about these kinds of questions. But then, you know, this is, this is the french third republic all over again,. This the same concerns that are animating french public discourse after the franco prussian war.
