Mirrors and Self Reflection

Samanthoride: Any kind of reflection of oneself, whether physic or figurative, tends to be a transcendental experience. Reflections are a way of understanding what others see when they lay eyes upon us. There's an old superstition about capturing some one's essence with camera on film and i believe it stems from the same discomfort as mirrors. If you believe that your likeness forms a part of your being, then to have your likeness preserved in another medium may lead some to believe that some part of their being has also been detached along with it.
