The Scare Campaign to Preserve a Loophole

Employer groups have come out swinging against this policy. The ads depict a diligent trading on a work site with a colleague slacking off, watching videos on his phone. What it's saying is where there are minimum rates of pay in a workplace that people performing the same job should be paid to the sameminimum rates of pay. It's an absolute ludicrous argument from them, but it's not again surprising that big business are running these arguments. They are worried about this loophole being closed. I suppose when you have a look what's at stake for some of their members not surprising. This is the legislation that needs to pass,. disappointing that the business lobbies have taken this approach.
