Jay Johnson: I feel like he's a founding father of the evangelical political movement, almost more so than Jerry Falwell. 700 clubs seems like it morphed into appealing to that new version of evangelical voter. Pat Robertson has remained consistent and people who are truly evangelicals in the religious sense, as opposed to the political sense would agree with that.
