The Problem Isn't Logic, It's Intellectual Cleverness

A lot of people feel that there must be some sort of intrinsic value to money, right? And they get leery about fiat currencies for that reason. But Wittgenstein says the point isn't the word, but it's meaning - and you think of the meaning as a thing of the same kind as the word. So if you focus on the way in which words actually have power over something then their use is more important than what we mean by them.
