The peak end rule is a psychological term which says that we don't remember past experiences very well. We tend to judge our past experiences based on how we felt at their peak or at their end, rather than the combined totality of the experience from beginning to middle to end. And when it comes back to looking and remembering those things, it's either really good based on the peak or the end.
In this episode, I talk about the Peak-End Rule and why it's holding us back. I talk about using mindfulness to challenge our memories and find clarity in the process.
