In AD 49 the wealth front needs reinforcing. The 20th legion that had been garrisoned at Colchester is moved to Wales. Kamala Dunum becomes a colony for retiring veterans from the army. But they treat the trinovantes abysmally, taking them as slaves and dispossess them. They fleece them of their wealth to build the city in Kalonia.
