The Last Battle of the Civil War - James Meredith
Meredith was a courageous yes but also James Meredith when he started to experience the full weight of white resistance during that case he sometimes faltered. He said this letter to the ink fund saying he wanted to challenge segregation at Ole Miss but there came a time when he wrote a different letter to Motley saying I can't take this anymore. The veterans have already graduated from college. They have their families they have their houses and he had none of that because he was struggling against the infrastructure of Mississippi all of it.
