How to Balance Memorization and Fluency in Chinese
If you spend all of your time just memorizing vocabulary, then you're not actually building fluency. Fluency is more like proficiency, being able to use the language quickly and flexibly. So that's what we're talking about today. You can call it the vocabulary dilemma. It's really easy to get caught up in that whole of like just memorizing new words.
