The Pro Life and the Pro Choice Camps Are Actually Posing Two More Specific Questions for the Moslem Community Directly
People trying to squash islam into either the per life or the perchoice boxes, it seems to me that they end on doing two things. It reduces islam's nuance and abod on abortion, as you said, but also islam's nuanced how more generally we reconcile conflicting moral and political concerns. And this is really frustrating, because i think that it's really important for us as moslem communities in the west to have political literacy.
