The Prison Visitation Room in Carville, Louisiana
Neil white was to serve his sentence at a minimum security prison located inside the last remaining leprosy colony in the continental united states. The facility opened in 18 94 as the louisiana leper home. Neil went inside and checked in, and immediately asked the prison guard about the man with no fingersnd he said, that's a patient. I thought if i contracted a disease that disfigured me, that i would never be able to touch my children again. When neil white says that the leprosy patients were imprisoned, he's not kidding.
