The Impact of the Price Cap on Centrica's Performance
The price cap is working the other way now for consumers as well, but centrica is able to reap the benefits of lower prices itself while everyone else is still paying a high amount. The one mitigating factor or the one factor centrica has on its side is the massive disruption has been in this market over the past two or three years with suppliers failing left, right and center. That rough gas storage station obviously was closed down a few years ago reopened. If it can talk about the oldest kinds of investments, it then becomes a little more difficult to treat it as political football.
