The Thomas Cat

Ben Johnson wrote a play in 1598 called Every Man in His Humor with a You. The quote is attributed to Ben Johnson, but it was written 400 years after his death. In the Galveston Daily News, he says curiosity killed the Thomas cat. "I don't know why I can't subtract 1598 from 1898 and come up with the right number"
