Her cancer was confirmed. She knew exactly whatshe wanted. After a lot of tears and listening, hospis came in to consult with us on next steps. And we learned that we needed signatures from two doctors in order to proceed with death ith dignity. Her primary care physician said he would sign but only if her ologist signed off first. As a doctor and an educated man of science, he is trained to problem solved diseases. My mam said she wanted death with dignity. This is my time. This is what i want. We were really confused. Hospice just came in and walked us through the process. It gives individuals the legal right to decide and act for themselves
