The Problem With the Home Builders
We still don't have enough homes, even with allowing the financial engineering to make homes more affordable. How do you fix that? Because the home builders themselves all kind of rained things in, didn't want to be caught in the position they were caught in back in 2008. The whole permitting process and the environmental review and the cost to be able to get a building permit today is extraordinary. If we had more surety of execution where you owned a piece of land... I think you'd start seeing a lot more houses built.
