Vivarium is a psychological horror about guilt. On the other hand, it's a pointedly political piece about exploitation. Eva Green has got a way of smiling in a way that goes, there's something completely amiss. Some people will find it, you know, like I said, I'd say, I saw the twist coming all by its slightly exasperating. There are some moments in it that are genuinely like, oh, that's properly creepy.
