I've never been any extension of any party or any government, anything ever. We used to be in the business of chasing after the government. Only with trump did we have to become defenders of government institutions. The media was our job to poke holes in em. Now that's changed. And i think one of my concerns is that young reporters don't understand what journalism ethics really was, at least and is. They te the need to get the clicks versus the need toget the factsi think, is what's causing a lot of the distortions That cause the conflict that you're talking about.
