The Curse of the Expert
There's definitely a the myth of the expert where like far fewer people are actually experts. You want someone who's maybe about six months ahead of you in terms of their own kind of knowledge, but fully understands what it was like to be a novice in the subject. I think very few people can actually bridge the divide. Ali used to do some math tutoring when he was in school, just for a bit of money on the side. He found that he was pretty good at tutoring people who already got it. But he found it very hard to teach to kids who were really struggling.
