Do You Want to Repeal the State and Local Tax Deduction?

The state and local tax deduction is currently capped at ten thousand dollars. repealing that cap would give the top one % an average tax cut of over 35 thousand dollars, while the middle class would get an average tax of about 37 dollars. The whole point of a progressive taxation system is that after you pay for the things you must have, like food, this is when we have a standard deduction. If you are forced to pay part of your income to the state where you live, you don't have that income left over to it's not available to you.
