The DOT's Proposed Rule-Making on Consumer Protection

The DOT has become much more aggressive with respect to consumer protection. There is a real emphasis on consumer protection, expanding the situations for which carriers need to provide refunds. If they receive any kind of financial assistance, this was the case during COVID and there are very onerous responsibilities as well to consumers.
