Interviewing Trump for a Piece on the Russia Dossier?
"I doubt that a serious journalist can set about to do a piece in which one of the major characters you don't even try to interview," he says. "It's hard to put yourself in his shoes, because I'm not sure anybody has the size of shoes he wears." Trump wasn't aware of the dossier during the campaign but was surprised when it was used against him by FBI Director James Comey on January 6. He didn't fully understand exactly what the dossier and its implications were until after being sworn in as president.
