What Was the Culture Like in the Investment Banking Industry?

In his time as an investment banker, you saw a lot of people who were "about the most dissatisfied and empty and unfulfilled" You're really out on an island on your own. That's why I couldn't last there for very long. My soul was slowly starting to die based off of the environment I was in.
