The Future of AI
Shuman: People are trying to build AI into technology stacks at a rate that we've never seen before and automate as much as possible. I can also see an environment where if you train enough large language models effectively in advanced ways, then you might end up with collectively intelligence algorithms that perform better than any human being would individually or collectively. Shuman: One of the challenges associated with reaching AGI is defining AGI. But clearly what we see with LLMs is that they function in a way that is quite different from the human mind. And so I think that that's what we're wrestling with right now as a society.
